Milk for Dummies

Yup, cows give milk... like all mammals
We think that there's almost nothing more irritating online that the bait and switch. Heck, it's irritating everywhere! But when you click on the link that promises you information, whether it's "Nude Natalie Portman Pics!" or "Secrets of Anti-Aging Serums," we think you should get what you're looking for. Not according to some money-hungry freelancers, though they're perfectly happy to slap on a title that's only tangentially-related to their content. You know, people like gardens14 over at InfoBarrel.com, who claimed he was going to tell us "What Is Milk" – but then he didn't...

If a non-dumbass were to write that content, we'd expect to find discussion of mammals and mammary glands, nutrition for live-born infants, and other warm and cuddly stuff. Gardens? This yutz babbles about dairy cows and how hard dairy farming is. The closest he gets to imparting useful information is the passage,
"The best dairy farms are in regions where there are good pastures. Wisconsin and New York are famous for such farms. In Europe, the Netherlands and Denmark are known for their rich dairy lands."
What he misses in his great exposé is that, especially in Wisconsin and New England, dairy farming is preferred over crop farming because the fields are too rocky to plow. Then again, if our Dumbass of the Day thinks being a dairy farmer is hard, he should try being a dairy cow...
