Physician, Heal Thyself for a Dummy Blogger

everything you need to know about blogging, my ass
Everything you need to know about blogging, our ass
Ever heard that admonition before? "Physician, heal thyself"? If you haven't, it essentially means that you shouldn't criticize someone else for having the same fault as you. Say, Donald Trump shouldn't be calling Hillary Clinton a "liar" until he examines his own demonstrably tenuous connection with the facts. Be that as it may, we'd rarely seen this except in people writing "grammar" suggestions, not until we decided to visit a previous DotD to see what other inane crap she had to say. Libby Baez, aka CountryWine of PersonaPaper did not fail with her post, "Many Posts Are Way Too Disappointing."

Physician, heal thyself, indeed... Baez's complaint is that
"I am beginning to wonder about the people who joined Persona Paper. I don't think they get the concept of what it means to use Persona as a blog or article writing."
Well, Libby, if you wanted thoughtful and informative writing you should have joined Bubblews instead... just kidding. Sure, lots of articles posted at places like PersonaPaper lack much... just plain much, come to think of it. But Baez's complaint? It's this:
"Instead, I, mostly, come across posts that just BARELY make the minimum cut in order for the post to be live. Is this Facebook or Persona? It feels more like people think this is Facebook and barely get any words out. I thought I had joined a WRITING site."
If you thought you had "joined a WRITING site," Libby, then you should have been writing instead of the stream of consciousness bull you usually post. But our point in nominating you for the Antisocial Network's daily award isn't that your post is boring crap, it's that you end up by shouting,
"GIVE ME SOMETHING REAL TO READ! I meant that in the nicest way possible."

Yup: physician, heal thyself is certainly on point.

FWIW, Baez complains that people "just BARELY make the minimum cut" which, according to Persona's "rules," means that the content "contain[s] a minimum of 500 [alphanumeric] characters" -- Libby's post? 818 -- not words, characters. And here you wondered why we're calling her our Dumbass of the Day... (that was 1604 alphanumeric characters, if you're curious).
